Civil Engineers with a bachelor’s degree, valid Qatar ID, residence permit, and a clean legal record are eligible.

Engineers are allowed up to four attempts, with certain attempts (2^nd & 4^th attempt) requiring approval from MME.

Grades are based on experience: Grade C, Grade B, and Grade A. Higher grades require more years of professional experience.

Grade A: Typically awarded to engineers with 10 or more years of experience.

Grade B: Awarded to engineers with 7 to 10 years of experience.

Grade C: Awarded to engineers with 5 to 7 years of experience.

Trainee: Engineers with less than 5 years of experience may be classified as trainees.

The exam is computer-based, multiple-choice (MCQs), with 25–27 questions. There is no negative marking, and results are given instantly.
